Mavapay is a payments API company that enables businesses to send and receive money globally with security and ease. We offer a robust payment API for payouts, collections and conversions for businesses in specific African countries.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Identify and target key customer segments and develop effective sales approaches.  
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring accurate forecasting.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Grow our High-value merchant base in-turn, leading to revenue increase.
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Development
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies, including cold outreach, networking, and content marketing.
  • Identify and qualify potential leads, prioritizing high-value opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.


Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience as a sales person or similar role experience in the Nigerian<>South African payments corridor.

Strong business network access and relationship management.

Strong business sense and industry expertise in selling business services to large businesses.

Proven ability to conduct Market Research.

Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently.

Experience in the payments industry specifically the Nigerian-South African corridor.

Track record of high level sales in the B2B sector.
