We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic medical spa team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting a range of diagnostic tests and ensuring accurate, timely results to support the medical and aesthetic services provided at the spa. This role requires a balance of clinical expertise, customer service, and adherence to best practices in health, safety, and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, and other body fluid samples.

• Perform laboratory tests that support wellness and aesthetic procedures (e.g., hormone levels, blood chemistry, vitamin deficiencies).

• Operate and maintain lab equipment in compliance with standard protocols.

• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and laboratory safety guidelines.

• Maintain accurate patient records and test result documentation.

• Collaborate with doctors, aestheticians, and wellness practitioners to interpret lab results.

• Provide clear explanations of lab results to medical staff and, when necessary, to clients.

• Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of samples and reagents.

• Stay updated on industry trends, new diagnostic methods, and wellness testing relevant to a medical spa environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.

• Valid license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

•Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience, preferably with exposure to wellness or aesthetic medicine.

• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and use of diagnostic equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

• Understanding of medical spa services and holistic wellness is a plus.

• Familiarity with tests related to anti-aging, hormonal balance, detoxification, or micronutrient analysis.
