Frontend UI/UX Designer

Summary of the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype user interfaces for desktop, web and mobile applications
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs.
• Convert generated mockups to HTML & CSS.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of the designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine the design.
• Maintain a consistent visual design language across all platforms.
• Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and design techniques.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to team design discussions.

Job Specifications

Required Skills & Experience.

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in UI/UX or frontend design.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography, and layout.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) is a plus.
• A strong portfolio showcasing past UI/UX projects.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design standards.
• Motion/interaction design experience (Lottie, After Effects, etc.).
• Experience designing websites with HTML, CSS & JavaScript
