Position Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager with a strong pharmaceutical background and commercial acumen to oversee and optimize our operational processes.
- This individual will ensure seamless coordination across our supply chain, vendor relationships, and logistics while driving efficiencies that support the company’s growth goals.
- The ideal candidate will combine their deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry with business insights to manage operations that deliver exceptional service to both B2B and B2C clients.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations across the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Develop and implement SOPs to ensure efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with the customer service, vendor operations, and logistics teams to optimize workflows and ensure timely service delivery.
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and standards in procurement, storage, and distribution.
- Maintain quality control over pharmaceutical products and ensure proper handling and storage conditions.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities to stay updated on industry requirements.
- Drive operational initiatives that align with the company’s revenue and growth objectives.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, improved margins, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Support the sales and marketing teams in meeting customer demands, including B2B partnerships and on-demand platforms.
- Manage, train, and mentor operations staff, ensuring a high-performing team.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to align operational goals with company objectives.
- Develop a culture of accountability, efficiency, and innovation within the operations team.
- Build and maintain relationships with pharmacies, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Negotiate terms with vendors to secure the best value for the business.
- Ensure vendor performance meets service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Analyze operational data to inform strategic decisions and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance to the leadership team.
- Monitor inventory and sales data to forecast demand and adjust supply chain operations accordingly.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, supply chain logistics, and commercial operations.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving operational efficiencies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP tools, and data analysis software.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to align operations with business growth objectives.
- Experience in scaling operations for tech-driven pharmaceutical or health-focused startups.
- Familiarity with vendor and partner management platforms.
