Role Overview

The Human Resources Manager will oversee HR functions for both brands, ensuring effective talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in fostering a positive work environment while aligning HR practices with business goals.

Key Responsibilities;

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for both brands.
• Oversee the hiring process, including job postings, interviews, and offer negotiations.
• Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience to integrate new hires into the company culture.

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Act as a liaison between management and employees to foster a positive work culture.
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention.
• Address and resolve employee grievances and conflicts professionally.

Performance Management & Training

• Establish performance management frameworks, including KPIs and appraisal systems.
• Identify training and development needs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
• Organize periodic training sessions and workshops to improve workforce efficiency.

HR Policy & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company policies across both brands.
• Update and enforce HR policies, ensuring employees are well-informed of company expectations.
• Manage payroll, benefits, and other compensation structures in collaboration with Finance.

Workforce Planning & HR Strategy

• Develop HR strategies that align with the overall business goals of Hikky’s Hair and Rolak Comfort Gardens.
• Forecast staffing needs and workforce trends to support business growth.
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the workplace.

Qualifications & Skills;

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in the beauty, hospitality, or retail industries.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
