We are hiring a Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our growing team onsite in Ibadan. This role is central to our client acquisition and retention strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for sales, marketing, and client engagement, with the ability to drive results and foster meaningful relationships with startups and hiring companies.
You will play a critical role in communicating Betternship’s value, managing client relationships, conducting training sessions, and helping the company meet its sales goals.
Key Responsibilities- Execute sales strategies to attract and retain clients (especially startups and growing businesses).
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Deliver presentations and demos to prospective clients to showcase Betternship’s services.
- Handle customer service inquiries professionally, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and generate regular reports.
- Collaborate with the internal team to align marketing and sales efforts.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong sales and sales management abilities, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Solid understanding of marketing strategies and techniques (digital marketing is a plus).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Tech-savvy and familiar with tools like Google Workspace, CRM platforms, and social media.
- Prior experience in HR, recruitment, or a tech startup environment is an added advantage.
