Job Description

We are seeking a smart, driven, and highly teachable individual to join our team as a Legal and Compliance Analyst. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong interest in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and risk management. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the Legal and Compliance team in ensuring the company’s operations adhere to applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, contracts, policies, and compliance reports.
• Monitor and track regulatory changes and ensure relevant updates are communicated internally.
• Participate in internal compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Help maintain proper records and documentation in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with legal and compliance standards.
• Carry out legal and regulatory research to support the team’s functions.
• Perform any other administrative or legal tasks as may be assigned.

Should Have 

• A Bachelors’ degree in Law (a minimum of 2:1).
• Must have completed Law School (a minimum of 2:2).
• Strong academic record and research skills.
• 1- 2 years of work experience as a corporate lawyer, especially in the fintech space.
• Excellent communication, research and legal drafting skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
