Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist located in Ikoyi, Lagos. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing eye diseases and conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing treatment plans. Additionally, the Optometrist will educate patients on eye health, work closely with other healthcare professionals, and ensure accurate patient records are maintained.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting eye examinations and diagnosing eye conditions
• Ability to prescribe corrective lenses and create treatment plans
• Strong patient communication and education skills
• Experience in maintaining accurate patient records
• Knowledge of the latest advancements in optometry
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• Current and valid state optometry license
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Continuous commitment to professional development and staying updated on industry trends
