Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Operations located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Head of Operations will oversee daily operations and manage various units to ensure operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Management & Operational Oversight: Oversee and manage HQ units (HR, Operations, Legal), ensuring efficient operations and alignment with organizational goals, and addressing challenges proactively.
  • ⁠Hands-on: Own and take direct responsibility for handling company issues in Operations/Legal/HR functions.
  • Cross-units Coordination: Collaborate with various units to optimize workflows, resource allocation, and internal processes.
  • ⁠Budget & Resource Management: Oversee budgets, optimize resource utilization, prepare financial reports, and manage tax on TaxPro Max.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness across departmental units.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • ⁠Proven experience with at least 5 years in an operational leadership role.
  • ⁠Hands-on experience in at least one of the following departments: Legal, Operations, HR, IT, or Product.
  • ⁠Strong understanding of business operations, process optimization, and resource management.
  • ⁠Experience in negotiating contracts, managing clients, and overseeing procurement.
  • ⁠Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations with a hands-on approach.
  • ⁠Proficient English (verbal and written), other languages an advantage.
  • ⁠Proficiency in using operational software (e.g., ERP systems, Zoho Tools, CRM platforms, Excel, Orange HRM).
