Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop scalable backend services for Squareme, FundR, and special projects.
• Optimize database performance, query efficiency, and API responsiveness for large-scale applications.
• Build and maintain secure and high-performance RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Lead backend system architecture decisions and ensure best practices in code quality and system security.
• Work closely with product and frontend teams to define, develop, and launch new features.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and drive engineering excellence.
• Implement observability tools, logging, and monitoring for real-time insights and incident response.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on scalable systems.
• Proficient in Node.js (NestJS or Express.js preferred).
• Strong experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL), including query optimization and indexing.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with authentication & security best practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption, etc.).
  
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in fintech, payments, or banking applications.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging queues.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
