Laundry Care Specialist

Job Summary

As a Laundry Care Specialist, you will be responsible for the washing, drying, ironing, and folding of beddings, towels, guest garments etc.
Your commitment to quality and efficiency will help us maintain the impeccable standards La Champagne Tropicana is known for.

Responsibilities

Collect, sort, and wash laundry items, including linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing.
Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect laundered items for cleanliness, stains, and damage; report or rewash as needed.
Fold, hang, and store clean laundry in designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment.
Track inventory levels of laundry supplies and report shortages to management.
Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols.
Assist with special cleaning assignments as required.

Qualifications

Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc Degree
Minimum of 2 years of experience in laundry services, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
Basic knowledge of different fabrics and appropriate laundry techniques.
Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment.
Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Honest, reliable, and courteous demeanor.
