Media Health and Rights Initiative of Nigeria (MHR) is dedicated to empowering the youth in Nigeria, especially girls and women, by providing comprehensive information to help them claim their rights and make informed choices. MHR hosts all social media pages of Love Matters Naija (LMN) to promote these goals.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Content Officer at Media Health and Rights Initiative of Nigeria (MHR). The Content Officer will be responsible for managing the social media content across platforms and communications. This role is based in Abuja but allows for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Communication and Writing skills
• Web Content Writing and Content Management skills
• Social Media Marketing skills
• Experience in content creation and management
• Strong understanding of media ethics
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of health and rights issues in Nigeria
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, or related field
