About The Job

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join our auditing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, with hands-on experience in auditing and financial analysis. The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting our clients' financial decisions through accurate reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements.
  • Perform risk assessments and identify control deficiencies.
  • Document audit findings and prepare working papers.
  • Support senior auditors in drafting audit reports.
  • Analyze financial statements and data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Help verify assets and liabilities through physical inspections and reconciliations.
  • Stay up to date on accounting standards and industry regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all audit documentation and client information.

Requirements

  • - HND/Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a must.
  • - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as an Accountant, preferably in an auditing firm.
  • - Strong knowledge of auditing practices and financial analysis techniques.
  • - Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions) and QuickBooks.
  • - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • - Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • - Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
