We are seeking a seasoned Copy Lead to join our dynamic team at Poke Ltd. In this leadership role, you will oversee the copy team and drive content strategy, ideation, and execution for a diverse portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the overall content and copy strategy for client campaigns.
  • Provide creative direction and feedback to ensure the highest quality of work.
  • Mentor and guide junior copywriters to grow their skills and align their work with the agency’s standards.
  • Write compelling, original, and client-centric content including ad copy, taglines, campaign scripts, social media captions, and website content.
  • Ensure all copy aligns with the client’s tone of voice and brand identity.
  • Work closely with art directors, designers, and strategists to develop integrated campaign ideas.
  • Collaborate with account managers to understand client needs, campaign goals, and deliverables.
  • Handle minimal supervision while taking ownership of projects from ideation to completion.
  • Participate in client pitches and meetings to present creative concepts.
  • Address and integrate client feedback promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all copy and content adhere to brand guidelines, SEO best practices, and industry standards.
  • Review and approve content before delivery to ensure it meets Poke Ltd’s quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain timelines and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Oversee the workflow of the copy team and implement processes to optimize productivity.


Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
  • At least 8 years of experience in copywriting, with 3+ years in a leadership role at a top advertising agency.
  • A portfolio showcasing creative campaigns for leading brands.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a hybrid work environment.
  • High-level organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of SEO, social media platforms, and emerging digital trends.
