About The Job
- The role holder will work closely with Junior Analysts and Associates to support transaction execution. This includes evaluating investment opportunities and executing capital raising, mergers and acquisitions (M&As), financial advisory, and project finance transactions.
- Support the evaluation and execution of M&As, capital raising, financial advisory, and project finance transactions.
- Conduct financial analysis, valuations, and prepare financial models in collaboration with Associates and Team Leads.
- Assist in preparing transaction documents such as pitch books, business plans, investment teasers, and presentations.
- Perform financial and commercial due diligence to support transaction execution.
- Track market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes relevant to the firm’s focus areas.
- Maintain and update client and market databases to support deal origination and business development.
- Provide input in strategy development, business performance reporting, and budget preparation.
- Promote cross-selling by understanding and leveraging the firm’s full suite of services.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree (MBA or relevant MSc), and/or professional qualifications (CFA, ICAN, CIS, ACCA) are added advantages
- 3 to 5 years of core investment banking and financial advisory experience
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Power, or Infrastructure projects is an added advantage
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent business writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Advanced quantitative, analytical, research, valuation, and financial modeling skills
- Strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory challenges, and capital market processes
- Ability to multitask, perform under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Entrepreneurial mindset with creativity and strong interpersonal skills
