Our client is a boutique private equity marketing firm that connects high-net-worth individuals with exclusive investment opportunities in emerging technologies, pre-IPO ventures, and hedge fund allocations. About The Role

We’re looking for a driven and personable Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a nimble team focused on investor prospecting. You’ll work directly with the founder, reaching out to a curated database of high-net-worth individuals to generate interest in alternative investment opportunities. Your goal is to qualify prospects and book calls—not to close deals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on phone outreach, is confident speaking with affluent investors, and is excited about learning the language of private equity, hedge funds, and venture capital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Prospecting: Call through a pre-built list of high-net-worth individuals and engage them in introductory conversations about investment opportunities.
  • Qualifying Leads: Gauge interest, determine eligibility, and filter for fit based on investment preferences, risk appetite, and financial profile.
  • Appointment Setting: Book qualified prospects for sales calls with the founder and manage basic follow-ups and reminders.
  • Pipeline Hygiene: Maintain accurate notes and updates on lead interactions using basic tools (a lightweight CRM may be adopted).
  • Collaborative Support: Offer ideas and feedback to improve outreach scripts, positioning, and qualification criteria.
  • Self-Education: While financial expertise isn’t required, an openness to learn private equity terminology and product dynamics is important.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in outbound phone-based prospecting, appointment setting, or sales development.
  • Comfortable engaging with high-net-worth individuals and senior-level professionals.
  • Exceptional spoken English with a clear, professional tone.
  • Proven ability to maintain consistent high-volume outreach.
  • Self-starter attitude with strong time management and autonomy.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Exposure to financial services, investing, or private equity (even conversational).
  • Experience working for boutique firms, hedge funds, investor relations teams, or capital-raising groups.
  • Strong interest in learning about high-value investment products (e.g., pre-IPO shares, hedge fund allocations, PE funds).

If you’re a tenacious prospector who enjoys dialing smart and speaking with influential individuals, this is your chance to be part of a high-impact, low-ego team helping bring powerful investment opportunities to life.
