This opportunity is with one of ReCreaX’s partner companies.  A forward-thinking SaaS food-tech startup developing a powerful restaurant management software used by restaurants to streamline operations, boost revenue, and enhance the customer dining experience. With both online and offline capabilities, their solution is built to serve restaurants in diverse environments, from bustling cities to low-connectivity areas.

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Developer with proven experience building applications that run both online and offline. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the cross-platform applications using ElectronJS (for desktop) and NextJS/NestJS for front- and back-end functionality. The ideal candidate understands how to design reliable offline-first solutions and is comfortable building seamless experiences across desktop and mobile environments.

• Implement offline-first architecture and syncing strategies for data integrity across network conditions.
• Work closely with backend engineers using NestJS to ensure robust communication between front-end and server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain high-quality desktop applications using ElectronJS.
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, high-quality mobile UIs using NextJS.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance app functionality.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Debug and resolve application issues across different devices and OS versions.
• Follow best practices in version control (Git/GitHub) and mobile CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to iterate quickly and deliver high-impact features.

• 2-3 years of experience in building and deploying ElectronJS apps in production.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with solid understanding of NextJS and NestJS.
• Understanding of cross-platform desktop and mobile development principles.
• Experience in API integration, state management (Redux, etc.)
• Familiarity with App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android) deployment processes.
• Familiarity with POS or restaurant-tech environments is nice to have.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and version control best practices.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with an ownership mindset.
