We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience, specializing in Voice-to-Text (ASR) and Text-to-Voice (TTS) technologies. This role is exclusive to candidates located in Nigeria. Candidates residing abroad or outside Nigeria will not be considered.

The ideal candidate is passionate about applied machine learning, has strong experience working with OpenAI tools, and is proficient in Python and AI/ML libraries. You’ll be building next-generation voice applications that leverage cutting-edge speech processing and AI technologies.

• Design and implement voice-based AI systems (ASR/TTS).
• Train and fine-tune models using tools such as OpenAI, Whisper, Tacotron, WaveNet, or similar.
• Optimize model performance for African accents and local dialects.
• Build robust APIs and pipelines for voice data ingestion and transformation.
• Work collaboratively with backend and frontend engineers to deploy intelligent voice interfaces.
• Continuously test, evaluate, and improve AI models in real-world conditions.

• Minimum 3 years experience in AI engineering roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Voice-to-Text (ASR) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) systems.
• Proficiency in Python, including libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers, etc.
• Experience with OpenAI APIs and other modern LLM platforms.
• Strong understanding of NLP and speech recognition concepts.
• Experience deploying ML models to production.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.

• Must be currently based in Nigeria.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Clear communication and ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• A strong portfolio of past voice or AI projects is a big advantage.
