Salary - N550,000 - N700,000 dependent on experience

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer specializing in mobile applications to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will develop and maintain mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for cross-platform solutions.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs.
• Implement user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and consistent with our brand.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Work closely with the design team to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role, focusing on mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and experience with React Native.
• Familiarity with Node.js and its ecosystem.
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of mobile app development best practices, including performance optimization and security.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other frontend frameworks and libraries relevant to mobile development.
• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of the mobile app deployment process for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience with payment or fintech applications is a nice-to-have.
