Salary - N550,000 - N700,000 dependent on experience

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer specializing in mobile applications to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will develop and maintain mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for cross-platform solutions.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs.
- Implement user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and consistent with our brand.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Work closely with the design team to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role, focusing on mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and experience with React Native.
- Familiarity with Node.js and its ecosystem.
- Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of mobile app development best practices, including performance optimization and security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other frontend frameworks and libraries relevant to mobile development.
- Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of the mobile app deployment process for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience with payment or fintech applications is a nice-to-have.
