Compliance Officer

Role Summary

• As a Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our operations meet regulatory standards and internal policies. You will assist in identifying compliance risks, monitoring activities, and supporting audits and investigations.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and report findings.
• Maintain updated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (CBN, SEC, NDIC, etc.).
• Support in preparing documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
• Assist in developing internal policies and staff training on compliance matters.
• Investigate and document any compliance breaches or irregularities.
  
  

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or related field (preferably in financial services or fintech).
• Understanding of the Nigerian regulatory landscape.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• B.Sc. in Law, Finance, Business Admin, or related field (compliance certifications are a plus).
