Your Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • You will maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • You will oversee daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • You will prepare detailed financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support informed decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • You will assist in developing and monitoring annual budgets and financial plans.
  • You will analyze budget vs. actual performance and provide actionable recommendations.

Cash Flow Management

  • You will monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
  • You will reconcile bank statements and manage financial transactions.

Modeling New Revenue Streams

  • You will develop credit assessment and scoring models.
  • You will define loan approval criteria and risk mitigation strategies.
  • You will monitor loan disbursement, repayment performance, and portfolio health.
  • You will ensure financial compliance and reporting to investors or funding partners.

Compliance and Auditing

  • You will ensure full compliance with tax and statutory regulations.
  • You will support audit processes with timely and accurate documentation.
  • You will coordinate with banks, auditors, and regulators when needed.

Collaboration with HR

  • You will work closely with HR to manage PAYE remittances, pension contributions, and monthly salary disbursements.

To be considered, you should have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in financial management or accounting
  • Strong proficiency in accounting tools like Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel
  • Deep understanding of tax laws, financial principles, and regulatory standards
  • Chartered qualification from a reputable accounting body (e.g., ICAN, ACCA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and a high level of integrity
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
