Digital Content Designer (Video and Graphics)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Digital Content Designer (Video and Graphics) to join our Digital Marketing Team. This role is central to driving the visual excellence of our content across digital platforms — from Instagram to YouTube, website, and beyond.
The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who can bring ideas to life through compelling graphics, engaging short-form video content, and dynamic motion designs. You’ll work closely with our content and campaigns team to create assets that are not only aesthetically excellent but deeply resonant with our global audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design visually compelling graphics for social media, web, email, and digital campaigns
- Edit and produce short-form and long-form videos (reels, sermon nuggets, promos, etc.)
- Create motion graphics using After Effects for storytelling and animated content
- Work with digital marketing team to interpret briefs and bring content to life
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and elevate brand perception
- Participate in content brainstorming and strategy sessions
- Adapt and resize content for multiple platforms and formats
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Maintain organized file systems and backups for all creative assets
Required Skills & Tools:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro.
- Strong design sense with an eye for layout, typography, and brand consistency
- Excellent video editing skills with a good sense of pace, rhythm, and storytelling
- Ability to translate campaign ideas into visual formats that drive engagement
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
- Experience working in a fast-paced, content-rich environment
Preferred Experience:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role (Graphics and Video editing)
- Background in church, faith-based, or non-profit media is a plus
- Familiarity with social media best practices for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
- Ability to design with both African and global audiences in mind
