We’re hiring a Creative Lead for Design Systems to define, build, and manage the long-term creative operating system at Spacefinish and Campus. This role is not about daily project execution, it’s about turning our creative DNA into a repeatable, teachable system that scales.

You’ll codify our design identity, lead the development of creative assets, and mentor the design team in delivering consistent, brand-aligned spatial experiences.


Key Responsibilities

1. Extract and Codify Our Creative DNA
  • Capture the essence of what makes Spacefinish + Campus spatially unique
  • Define our visual identity system — tone, mood, materiality, story
  • Document principles that others can use to deliver “on-brand” design


2. Build the Design System
  • Create and maintain standard layout templates, design packs, FF&E kits, and moodboard structures
  • Work with Design Ops to deploy assets in SketchUp, Revit, and other production tools
  • Translate design taste into toolkits that work across different teams and project types


3. Run Creative QA and Concept Reviews
  • Lead creative stage-gate reviews (Concept, Schematic)
  • Maintain visual consistency across projects and designers
  • Protect creative integrity while allowing room for innovation


4. Mentor & Multiply

  • Train designers to think in our creative language
  • Run critiques, design walkthroughs, and internal “taste calibration” sessions
  • Scale your thinking through others, not just by doing, but by teaching


5. Evolve the System Over Time
  • Review and update creative standards based on client needs, trends, and internal feedback
  • Align Campus and Spacefinish Design Templates under one creative system
  • Perform industry research to ensure our design remains current, relevant, and scalable

  • Designers are empowered to deliver without guessing and burnout
  • Our creative bar is protected and not dependent on individuals, but instead on the quality of our design system.
  • You’ve created a system that makes great design inevitable


What We’re Looking For
  • 7–10 years in interior design, architecture, or spatial brand work
  • Strong visual taste and storytelling skills
  • Experience building or working within a design system (product or project-based)
  • Excellent communication across creative and operational teams
  • Proven ability to train or elevate designers through feedback and tools
  • Builder energy, you like turning chaos into clarity
  • Experience across the workplace, or productized design environments
