Personal Assistant to the Managing Director

Job Summary:

The Personal Assistant (PA) to the Managing Director (MD) plays a pivotal role in providing high-level administrative and personal support, ensuring smooth coordination of daily activities, effective time management, and confidential handling of sensitive matters. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and demonstrates exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the MDs daily calendar, meetings, appointments, and travel itineraries.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the MD.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, correspondence, and meeting documentation.
  • Attend meetings, take accurate minutes, and follow up on action points.
  • Handle confidential documents with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Liaise with senior executives, staff, clients, and vendors as directed by the MD.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for company events and engagements.
  • Manage personal errands and tasks as delegated by the MD.
  • Maintain effective filing and document management systems (physical and electronic).


Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the oil & gas or related sector.
  • HND or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications in office administration, executive support, or secretarial duties are an added advantage.

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic demands


Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time, in-office role based in Lekki, Lagos.
  • Occasional travel may be required as directed by the MD.
