Search Engine Optimization Specialist

We’re seeking an experienced and creative SEO Specialist to join our remote team. This role is crucial in helping us grow our online presence, drive high-quality traffic, and support lead generation across our core digital channels.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to guide content and SEO strategy.
• Optimize RocketDevs’ website, landing pages, and blog content for on-page SEO.
• Perform regular site audits and implement technical SEO improvements (page speed, indexing, mobile responsiveness, etc.).
• Monitor, analyze, and report on organic search performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
• Collaborate with developers, content writers, and marketing stakeholders to implement SEO best practices.
• Develop and manage link-building strategies and outreach efforts to improve domain authority.
• Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates and digital marketing trends.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in an agency or SaaS environment.
• Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, keyword tools, and performance analytics platforms.
• Experience using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Search Console.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they relate to SEO performance.
• Ability to manage multiple SEO projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with developer-focused marketing and technical audiences.
• Basic understanding of paid search and PPC campaign structure.
• Experience working in a distributed/remote team.
