Moment is looking for a Country Manager for Nigeria to lead our go-to-market in Nigeria and develop winning relationships with merchants, partners, and across the local ecosystem to ensure that the Moment platform is firmly at the center of this change and can do our part to accelerate the growth of a stable, trustworthy, and enabling payments market in Nigeria.

THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Country Manager for our Nigeria site, focused on sales, partnerships, and overall business growth. The ideal candidate will lead both go to market and operations, and drive business growth through their local insights, strong relationships, and industry expertise.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in similar Sales or Business Development or Partnerships roles in a payments, SaaS, or ecommerce role
- Cross-Border and Enterprise Sales Expertise: Proven success in driving sales and business development between the Middle East and Africa, focusing on cross-border transactions and generating leads for large enterprise clients
- Demonstrated local network and market knowledge, with a strong local reputation in the industry. Established network of key business relationships within the Middle East and Africa, to quickly unlock market expansion and strategic partnership opportunities
- Tools and Technology: Proficient with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Freshdesk, HubSpot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other lead-generation and relationship management tools
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Moment business in Nigeria
- Build and develop an exceptional go-to-market strategy and pipeline
- Cultivate and close sales deals with leading merchants and partners on our strategic plans to target key local market needs, based on market trends, competitor positioning, and regulatory guidance
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including merchants, partners, vendors, and regulators
