Registered Dietitian

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian to lead nutritional analysis, categorization of meals, and the development of evidence-based substitutes for meals and ingredients. This position is integral to ensuring the nutritional accuracy and relevance of our recipe database.

The ideal candidate should have clinical or public health nutrition experience and be comfortable working with food composition data, condition-specific dietary requirements, and recipe documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nutrient analysis for meals prepared using various cooking methods.
• Recommend appropriate ingredients and meal substitutions aligned with health goals and cultural practices.
• Collaborate with the food technologist and head dietitian to review and approve recipes for dietary soundness.
• Contribute to the expansion and classification of meals based on suitability for specific health conditions (e.g., PCOS, hypertension, diabetes).

Qualifications:

* B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.

* Current registration/licensure as a Dietitian.

* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in dietetics, clinical nutrition, community/public health, or food-related research.

* Proficiency in nutrient analysis tools and familiarity with Nigerian/local foods preferred.

* Strong organizational and communication skills.
