Role Overview
We are looking for a Marketing Associate with a sharp eye for opportunity and strong sales instincts to manage and convert inbound leads. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, guiding them through the decision-making process and closing deals confidently.
This is not a content-heavy marketing role — your focus will be on handling warm leads, nurturing them, and converting them into paying users or clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound leads across channels (website, social media, referral sources, etc.)
- Qualify leads and identify customer needs, pain points, and decision timelines
- Create tailored follow-up communication to move leads through the pipeline
- Track and manage leads in a CRM or structured spreadsheet system
- Collaborate with the strategy and product team to understand offerings and align messaging
- Provide feedback on lead sources and campaign performance to improve lead quality
- Maintain a steady pipeline and update weekly reports on lead status and conversion rates
- Experiment with simple lead magnets, landing pages, or email drip campaigns (with support)
- Close deals and hand over to the onboarding or operations team
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, sales, customer success, or similar roles
- Proven ability to follow up and close inbound leads (bonus if you’ve worked in a B2B startup)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working remotely and independently
- Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot, Zoho, or Google Sheets-based tracking
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creative thinking and a solution-oriented mindset
Bonus Points
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup
- Knowledge of digital marketing funnels
- Ability to contribute to simple automation or email nurturing sequences
- Familiarity with no-code tools (e.g., Notion, Airtable, Zapier)

Salary: NGN 100,000 – 150,000
