Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Market Development
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain sales forecasts, budgets, and performance targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, and other healthcare providers.
- Identify and pursue new business leads through networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed set targets.
- Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and mentoring for team members.
- Foster a results-oriented culture that emphasizes customer satisfaction and professionalism.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the company's medical products and solutions.
- Present and promote products to healthcare professionals, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
- Coordinate with the technical team to provide post-sales support where necessary.
- Track, monitor, and analyze sales performance data and KPIs.
- Prepare periodic sales reports and recommendations for business improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in sales, healthcare marketing, or project management are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the medical equipment or healthcare sector.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth and meeting sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM software.
- Knowledge of local healthcare procurement processes is a plus.
