About The Opportunity

Our client is a growing leader in the manufacturing and distribution space, with a strong presence across West Africa. As part of their commitment to data-driven decision-making, they are seeking a Data Analyst to join their team and help transform raw data into actionable business insights.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to support commercial, operational, or strategic decisions. The role is based in Lagos and may involve collaboration with stakeholders across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from internal and external sources.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to track key metrics and KPIs.
  • Support business units (sales, operations, finance, etc.) with real-time data insights.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting needs and build scalable solutions.
  • Assist in automating recurring reports and building self-serve data tools.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity, recommending process improvements where necessary.
  • Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years experience in a data analyst or reporting analyst role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and one or more of the following: SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills able to translate data into clear business insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a high standard of data accuracy.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, or commercial environment is an added advantage.
