Salary: 700,000 Monthly (Net) + Benefits

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our medical equipment sales operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and expanding our client base across healthcare institutions and providers. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in medical or healthcare-related sales.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Market Development

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow market share.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.


Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and healthcare providers.
  • Identify and pursue new business leads through strategic outreach, referrals, and market engagement.
  • Represent the company at medical trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events.


Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed set targets.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing training, and drive a performance-focused culture.
  • Foster a professional and customer-oriented team environment.


Product Promotion & Sales Support

  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the companys medical equipment and healthcare solutions.
  • Present product offerings to procurement officers, medical professionals, and hospital management.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure seamless after-sales service and customer satisfaction.


Reporting & Operational Excellence

  • Monitor, analyze, and report sales performance using CRM tools and KPIs.
  • Generate weekly/monthly sales reports with actionable insights for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external healthcare regulations.


Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in sales, healthcare marketing, or project management are an added advantage.


Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the medical equipment or healthcare sector.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Track record of successfully driving revenue growth and expanding client portfolios.

  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and strong analytical problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and CRM platforms.
  • Understanding of Nigerian healthcare procurement processes is a plus.
