About the role

Flylane is seeking a highly driven, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious Strategic Support Associate to join our mission to unlock global education access for African students. This is not your typical assistant role, you’ll work directly with senior leadership to support our daily operations, prepare high-impact proposals and presentations, research potential school partners, and support students in their journey to global education.

This role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, takes initiative, writes well, and thrives in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments.


Qualification

  • Experience as Support Workers and Technical Support skills
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding practices
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field


What you will do

  • Manage the executive's meetings, calendar and travels
  • Draft, proofread, and format documents, reports, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Research schools, partners, or market insights to support proposals and outreach
  • Support student communications and basic enrolment coordination
  • Create and maintain clean, well-structured documents using Google Workspace
  • Manage light CRM updates and tracking for team operations
  • Visit schools or vendors in your local city when needed (in-person component is light)
  • Support scheduling, information gathering, and project follow-up for internal tasks
  • (Bonus) Assist with basic graphics using Canva


What we are looking for

  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and formatting
  • Comfortable using: Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Google Drive
  • Tech-savvy: Can learn and navigate CRM tools and digital workspaces
  • Available for hybrid work (remote + occasional in-person tasks)
  • Based in Lagos
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with Canva or basic graphic design
