Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives, growth plans, and operational effectiveness of the organization.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning and talent sourcing to selection and onboarding of top-tier professionals across technical and non-technical roles.
- Performance Management: Drive the implementation of performance management systems, KPIs, and continuous feedback mechanisms to improve employee productivity and accountability.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Build a strong employee relations framework, resolve grievances, and create engagement initiatives that promote workplace harmony and employee satisfaction.
- Policy & Compliance Management: Ensure all HR policies and procedures are up-to-date, compliant with Nigerian labour laws, and aligned with global best practices.
- Compensation & Benefits: Design competitive compensation structures and manage benefits programs to attract, motivate, and retain top talent.
- Learning & Development: Identify skills gaps and implement tailored training programs to support employee development and succession planning.
- HR Operations & Systems: Oversee HR operations, including employee data management, payroll coordination, HRIS systems, and audits.
- Leadership & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive management on all HR-related matters, organizational restructuring, and change management initiatives.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field. A Masters degree or HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) is an added advantage.
- 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a strategic or leadership role within the oil & gas, energy, or related industrial sectors.
- Proven expertise in all core HR functions talent management, organizational development, industrial relations, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, HR best practices, and employee engagement strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and business acumen.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be result-oriented, innovative, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability for immediate resumption is preferred.
