About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Manager to lead the market entry and

business growth strategy for our premium roofing sheet brand in Nigeria. This is a pivotal role that

combines strategic thinking, business development, market intelligence, and leadership to drive

commercial success in a highly competitive industry.


Key Responsibilities:

Market Strategy & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive market entry strategies to establish and grow the brand’s presence in Nigeria’s premium roofing sheet market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Drive sales performance, achieve revenue targets, and expand market share.
  • Build and manage relationships with key clients, contractors, developers, and industry stakeholders.

Product Positioning & Pricing:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform pricing and product positioning.
  • Work closely with product development and supply chain teams to ensure product-market fit.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead and inspire the commercial team to achieve business objectives.
  • Support recruitment, training, and performance management of sales personnel as the team grows.

Brand Awareness & Representation:

  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and foster relationships.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage commercial budgets, forecasts, and reporting.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction, or a related field. MBA is an advantage.
  • 5+ years of proven commercial experience in the roofing, building materials, or construction industry in Nigeria.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, sales growth, and market expansion.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate teams.
  • Solid understanding of the Nigerian construction ecosystem and customer buying behaviors.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
