A leading educational institution is hiring a Head of Human Resources to build and lead its HR function across multiple school arms. The School delivers holistic education across multiple levels, from Crèche and Early Foundation Stage through Key Stages and High School serving learners from infancy through adolescence. Role Description

The Head of Human Resources will lead the design, setup, and management of the entire HR function across all school arms (Crèche, Junior School, and High School). This role requires a mid-level HR leader with demonstrated experience building HR structures from the ground up, implementing systems and policies, and managing the full employee lifecycle within a structured, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement HR frameworks, policies, and organizational structures
• Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for academic and non-academic staff
• Develop and manage performance management and staff development systems
• Drive employee engagement, culture, and internal communication initiatives
• Ensure full compliance with labour laws, education regulations, and safeguarding standards
• Oversee HR operations including documentation, payroll coordination, and reporting
• Provide strategic HR insights to support executive decision-making and governance

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years HR experience 
• Proven experience building or restructuring HR functions
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices
• Professional HR certification is an added advantage 
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience within the education sector is a strong advantage
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: 500k-700k monthly gross
