Role Overview


Spacefinish, in partnership with LaborHack, is recruiting experienced professionals to join the Spacefinish Builder Network (SFBN) — a pre-vetted pool of skilled white-collar and blue-collar experts available on short notice for project execution.

We are seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Consultant to work on a flexible, call-out basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing, auditing, and enforcing quality management systems that ensure all projects meet international standards, client specifications, and Spacefinish’s benchmarks for excellence.


Contract Details


  • This is a fixed-term, call-out position.
  • The initial contract duration is 3 months.
  • The contract is renewable based on project duration and individual performance.
  • Engagement will be on an as-needed (call-out) basis, depending on project requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities


    1. Quality Management System (QMS)
    • Develop, implement, and enforce QA/QC policies, procedures, and manuals for construction and interior fit-out projects.
    • Ensure alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
    • Drive a culture of quality assurance across all project teams.
    2. Audits & Compliance
    • Conduct routine site audits covering materials, workmanship, and construction processes.
    • Ensure compliance with project specifications, statutory regulations, and international best practices.
    • Identify non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.
    3. Project Oversight
    • Oversee quality control processes across all project phases: design review, procurement, execution, and commissioning.
    • Review and validate inspection reports, test reports, and certifications from subcontractors and vendors.
    • Enforce mock-ups, sample approvals, and first-off inspections prior to full-scale implementation.
    4. Continuous Improvement
    • Train internal teams and subcontractors on QA/QC standards and procedures.
    • Introduce lean processes to minimize rework, delays, and cost overruns.
    • Lead root cause analysis for recurring defects and implement preventive measures.
    5. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Represent QA/QC in client and consultant meetings.
    • Provide clear, structured documentation and reporting to build client confidence.
    • Ensure transparency and accountability in quality delivery.


    Qualifications & Experience


    • Minimum Auditor Level 2 certification.
    • Certification in ISO 9001:2015 and/or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
    • 4–8 years’ QA/QC experience in construction and interior fit-out projects.
    • Proven experience with Tier-1 companies such as ITB, El-Alan, Julius Berger (JB), or Cappa & D’Alberto.
    • Strong technical expertise in civil works, finishing, MEP systems, and interior joinery.
    • Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
