Job Title: Recruitment Assistant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing, screening and shortlisting candidates based on job criteria.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Drafting and posting job descriptions.
- Performing pre-screening calls to analyze applicants' abilities
- Communicate effectively with candidates (emails, calls, follow-ups, status updates)
- Maintaining applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate databases
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Stay up to date with hiring trends and recruitment best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc./HND in Human Resources or related field.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in recruitment or similar role in a consulting firm
- Excellent time management abilities and a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Possess the ability to network and source appropriately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of HR practices and recruitment processes
- Familiarity with ATS software
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
