Our client is seeking dedicated ABA Therapist Trainees to work under the supervision of qualified ABA professionals supporting children with developmental, behavioural, learning, and communication needs.

The trainees will receive practical training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques and assist in implementing individualised intervention programs designed to promote skill development and independence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing individualised ABA therapy programs as directed by supervisors.
  • Support clients in developing communication, social, behavioural, self-help, and academic skills.
  • Collect and accurately record behavioural and skill acquisition data during therapy sessions.
  • Observe and report client progress, challenges, and behavioural changes to supervisors.
  • Assist in preparing therapy materials and maintaining an organized learning environment.
  • Follow behaviour intervention plans and safety procedures consistently.
  • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and records.
  • Collaborate effectively with supervisors, therapists, teachers, and parents when required.
  • Support clients during group activities, outings, and community-based learning experiences when assigned.
  • Maintain professional conduct and adhere to organizational policies and ethical standards.
  • Complete assigned documentation and reports accurately and on time.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of OND, HND, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Education, Psychology, Special Education, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, or related fields.
  • Passion for working with children and individuals with special needs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply ABA principles and techniques.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong observation and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
