Compensation
₦150,000/month during a 2-month probation period, increasing to ₦175,000/month upon successful confirmation.

Role Description
The Operations & Experiences Assistant will work closely with the Event & Operations Manager to coordinate event logistics, manage vendor and partner communications, maintain operational systems, and support the successful execution of Pop of Culture experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both organization and creativity, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants hands-on experience in events, community building, brand activations, and experiential marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
•Support the planning, coordination, and execution of Pop of Culture’s events, popups, workshops, activations, and community experiences in BOTH Lagos & Abuja.
•
- Assist with event timelines, checklists, schedules, and project tracking.
•Coordinate logistics before, during, and after events.
Vendor, Partner & Stakeholder Management
•
- Manage communications with participating brands, vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
•Track applications, payments, contracts, and required documentation.
•Respond to inquiries and ensure stakeholders receive timely updates.
Operations & Administration
•Maintain organized records, databases, trackers, and event documentation.
•Update CRM systems and manage administrative processes.
•Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and support internal operations.
Research & Partnership Support
•Research and contact potential partners, sponsors, venues, vendors, influencers, and community opportunities.
•Assist with outreach, follow-ups, and relationship management.
•Support the coordination of partnership and activation deliverables.
Event Day Execution
•Support event setup, vendor check-in, attendee experience, troubleshooting, and breakdown activities.
•Coordinate volunteers and temporary event staff when needed.
•Help ensure events run smoothly and professionally.
Qualifications
•1–3 years of experience in events, community management, hospitality, lifestyle brands, creative agencies, marketing, or a relat
ed field.•Demonstrated experience coordinating projects, events, activations, campaigns, or community initiatives.
•Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•High attention to detail and strong follow-through.</p>
•Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
•High proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and project management tools such as Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or Notion.
•Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends during event periods.
•Passion for entrepreneurship, culture, creativity, lifestyle brands, and community-building.
