Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Execution:
  • Drive monthly sales targets for company alcohol products in assigned regions.
  • Ensure consistent achievement of defined sales volumes and revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies.
  • Team Management & Monitoring:
  • Supervise and control the local sales team.
  • Track daily field activities, market visits, and performance of sales personnel.
  • Ensure disciplined reporting and accountability across the team.
  • Market Coverage & Distribution:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and bulk buyers.
  • Expand distribution footprint across countryside and untapped regions.
  • Monitor stock movement and availability in the market.
  • Collections & Financial Discipline:
  • Ensure timely collections against sales.
  • Manage cash collections and maintain strict financial discipline.
  • Minimize outstanding receivables and credit risks.
  • Travel & Business Development:
  • Travel extensively across Nigeria to develop new markets and secure orders.
  • Identify and establish business associations, partnerships, and new opportunities.
  • Branding & Market Visibility:
  • Execute local branding, promotions, and visibility campaigns.
  • Coordinate advertising initiatives suited to rural and semi-urban markets.
  • Strengthen brand recall and positioning in the local market.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
  • Ensure adherence to local laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and distribution.

Candidate Profile

  • Must have prior experience in the alcohol/liquor industry (mandatory).
  • Proven track record in sales, distribution, and team handling.
  • Strong understanding of rural and countryside markets.
  • Ability to manage operations independently in a challenging environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Nigeria.
