Job Description
The Key Purpose of this role is to lead the creation and validation of consumer insight driven innovative platforms and solutions that drive profitable top-line growth and the achievement of the company’s dream. The position holder would drive equity and market share growth of brand.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own and drive sustained brand Volume and equity growth across the portfolio (Volume, awareness, penetration, loyalty, and premiumization).
- Translate brand performance data into decisive actions that deliver both short-term and long-term Commercial results.
- Champion deep consumer, Trade, and market understanding to identify growth opportunities and shape winning strategies.
- Embed data-driven decision-making, leveraging insights to unlock demand and drive commercial impact.
- Lead the development and flawless execution of integrated brand plans aligned to commercial objectives and revenue growth targets.
- Ensure excellence in execution across all consumer touchpoints (Trade, media, digital, retail, and experiential).
- Lead front-end innovation to identify, validate, and scale new growth opportunities.
- Build and sustain a balanced innovation pipeline (short-, mid-, and long-term) that delivers incremental revenue and competitive advantage.
- Drive speed-to-market and success rates of innovations through strong cross-functional alignment.
- Define and evolve differentiated brand positioning, purpose, and core creative platforms that resonate with target audiences.
- Link marketing strategy directly to revenue, profitability, and market share outcomes.
- Track, analyze, and optimize marketing investments to ensure efficient and effective resource allocation.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance dashboards to drive accountability and continuous improvement across Commercial function
- Influence and align senior stakeholders across functions (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Insights) to deliver shared business goals.
- Build high-impact, collaborative relationships across the Zone to ensure integrated execution of growth initiatives.
- Coach and develop talent to build a future-ready marketing organization.
- Own and optimize the marketing budget to maximize return on investment and drive efficient growth.
- Balance resource allocation between brand building, demand generation, and innovation priorities.

- Good written and verbal communication
- Experience in and understanding of Igbo language would be an added advantage.
Minimum Requirements:
- Related degree
- Post graduate degree in business or marketing preferred
- Min 6-8 years related working experience in brand management, consumer insights and/or marketing strategy consulting environment; consumer goods preferred
