- Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian and Chinese dishes as per menu standards.
- Specialized expertise in Dim Sum preparation (steamed, fried, baked varieties).
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.
- Develop and suggest new menu items and seasonal specialties.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and follow food safety standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Monitor food quality and minimize wastage.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
- Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Indian & Chinese cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of authentic spices, sauces, and cooking techniques.
- Expertise in Dim Sum, wok cooking, gravies, tandoor (if applicable), and appetizers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Experience working in a reputed restaurant/hotel.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is an added advantage.
