What can you expect from this position:
- You are the first point of contact for our customers in Nigeria and West Africa.
- You will be responsible for the management and development of our small team at site and you will coordinate the deployment of our local technicians to ensure the smooth installation and servicing of our machines and systems.
- You will be responsible for purchasing on site, e.g. importing spare parts, etc.
- You will support our international sales team and liaise closely with our local customers, both for ongoing support and for the acquisition of new customers.
- You will be responsible for the administrative and commercial agendas on site and act as an interface to the head office in Austria. This also includes full responsibility for business planning and budgeting for our site in Lagos.
- You will ensure that our quality standards are maintained at all times to the satisfaction of our customers. Our professional Austrian sales and service team will provide you with optimum support.
- You are familiar with the business practices in Nigeria and West Africa and will contribute this expertise to the further development of our business in these countries.
- The position involves travelling within Nigeria and the surrounding countries.
- You have a technical and/or business education with some year´s experience in both areas.
- Ideally, you have industry experience in bag production, fabric production and/or plastic recycling.
- You move with ease between cultures and business mentalities; your high cultural awareness let you work effectively with our customers and our colleagues in Austria.
- Your business language is English. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
