Head of Operations
THE PLACE OF HAPPINESS
Remote
Company Description
The Place of Happiness (TPOH) is a social enterprise committed to transforming communities through health, wealth, and harmony. Our flagship initiative is a network of AI-enabled private primary healthcare centres serving suburban and rural communities in Delta State, Nigeria, starting with an Isoko pilot in Ozoro Town.
TPOH addresses the critical gap between unaffordable private hospitals and under-resourced public facilities. Through flat-rate outpatient care, AI-supported diagnostics, community health worker (CHW) task-shifting, and a relentless focus on quality, TPOH is building a model that can scale across Nigeria and beyond.
Role Description
This is a founding leadership role. The Head of Operations will sit at the intersection of clinical service delivery, community impact, and operational excellence. The post-holder will not simply oversee day-to-day processes; they will build them, own them, and be directly accountable for the lives they touch.
The post-holder will require demonstrated experience in operations management, the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse community and institutional stakeholders, and a genuine commitment to improving healthcare access in underserved communities.
This role requires an individual who is mission-driven, commercially minded, and capable of functioning as a co-creator of the TPOH model; identifying operational improvements, driving patient growth, and building the systems that will underpin TPOH's expansion.
