Economics Content Editor

The role sits at the intersection of content and operations. You will be responsible for vetting,

preparing, and publishing sponsored articles to a high editorial standard, while also managing client communications and basic administrative tasks. You will work independently in a fully remote environment, using AI tools and digital platforms to deliver consistent, high-quality output.

• Run articles through AI content detection tools to screen for AI-generated text, document results, and determine suitability for publication
• Vet incoming sponsored articles for economics relevance and publication suitability, adapting or flagging content where necessary.
• Rewrite or adapt articles where necessary to meet editorial standards, ensuring economics framing, and appropriate tone for the site audience.
• Proofread all content carefully before publication, checking for grammatical, spelling, and stylistic errors.
• Publish articles to the platform using existing online tools, including setting titles, bylines, internal and external hyperlinks, feature images, meta descriptions, and tags.
• Identify and insert relevant internal and external hyperlinks accurately within published content
• Triage a client inbox daily, categorising and responding to enquiries using pre-set email templates.
• Handle pricing discussions and negotiation within agreed guidelines
• Maintain professional and timely communication with clients throughout the publishing process.
• Issue payment invoices and track outstanding payments.
• Follow up on unpaid invoices and escalate where necessary in line with the agreed collections process.
• Maintain accurate records of published articles and payment status.

• Bachelor's degree in Economics a must have.Strong written English with the ability to write and edit clearly and accurately.Strong proofreading skills with close attention to grammatical, spelling, and stylistic accuracy.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks to a consistent standard.Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) as part of a professional workflow.Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced remote environment.
