Position Overview
The Head of Sales is responsible for building, leading, and scaling the entire commercial function of VizaCheck.
This is not a traditional sales management role.
We are looking for a commercially aggressive sales leader capable of creating predictable revenue systems, opening new markets, building partnerships, leading sales teams, driving customer acquisition, and establishing VizaCheck as the leading visa-readiness solution across Africa and key international markets.
The successful candidate will own revenue growth, sales strategy, sales operations, channel partnerships, and customer acquisition initiatives.
The role requires a strong understanding of B2C and B2B sales, sales leadership, market expansion, growth systems, pipeline management, and high-performance sales execution.

Core Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Commercial Leadership
Own company-wide revenue targets.
Develop and execute the sales strategy for VizaCheck.
Build scalable customer acquisition systems.
Identify new revenue opportunities and commercial partnerships.
Establish predictable sales forecasting and pipeline management systems.
Drive consistent month-on-month revenue growth.

Sales Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and manage high-performing sales professionals.
Build sales processes, SOPs, playbooks, and reporting structures.
Establish sales KPIs and accountability frameworks.
Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews.

Customer Acquisition
Drive acquisition across both direct-to-consumer and partnership channels.
Build outbound, inbound, referral, and partnership sales systems.
Develop high-converting sales funnels.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve conversion performance.

Strategic Partnerships
Establish partnerships with:
Immigration firms
Visa consultants
Travel agencies
Study abroad agencies
Universities
Relocation companies
Negotiate strategic revenue-generating partnerships.

Market Expansion
Identify new markets and growth opportunities.
Develop go-to-market strategies for regional and international expansion.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Sales Operations & Performance Management
Maintain accurate CRM reporting.
Build dashboards and forecasting systems.
Track sales efficiency metrics.
Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Revenue
Achieve minimum monthly revenue target of ₦500,000,000 within the first 90 days.
Scale monthly revenue to ₦200,000,000+ within the first 6 months.
Customer Acquisition
Minimum 5000 new paying customers monthly.
Consistent month-on-month customer growth.
Partnerships
Secure at least 5 strategic referral partners monthly.
Build a network of 50+ active referral partners within the first year.
Sales Performance
Maintain conversion rates above agreed benchmarks.
Achieve monthly sales forecast accuracy of at least 90%.
Team Performance
Ensure all sales team members meet individual quotas.
Maintain high sales productivity and accountability standards.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Management, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of sales experience.
Minimum 3 years in a sales leadership role.
Demonstrated experience managing high-performing sales teams.
Strong experience in B2C and B2B sales environments.
Proven revenue growth track record.
Experience in immigration, education, travel, SaaS, fintech, professional services, or technology sectors is highly preferred.
