Job Summary:

The Social Media Volunteer will manage and support the organization’s social media presence, including publishing content, engaging audiences, and supporting digital campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and publish content across social media platforms
• Schedule posts and maintain content calendars
• Engage with audiences and respond to messages/comments
• Track basic performance insights and engagement
• Support execution of paid social media ads (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
• Assist in audience targeting and boosting campaigns
• Stay updated on social media trends

Requirements:

• Experience managing social media accounts (personal, brand, or organizational)
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms
• Basic copywriting skills for captions
• Familiarity with scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, etc.)
• Understanding of paid ads (boosting, targeting, campaign setup)
• Strong communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Canva or basic design skills
• Experience running ads or boosting posts
• NGO or advocacy communications experience
