Senior Architect

Reporting To: Lead Architect / Design Director

The Senior Architect will lead architectural design projects from concept development through execution, ensuring design excellence, technical accuracy, and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong design leadership, technical expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to mentor junior team members while collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

• Lead the development of architectural concepts, design strategies, and project solutions.
• Translate client requirements into innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling designs.
• Oversee projects from concept design through detailed design and construction documentation.
• Ensure design quality, consistency, and compliance throughout all project stages.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, presentations, and design deliverables.

• Produce and review detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure designs comply with local building regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Lead BIM implementation and coordinate design documentation across project teams.
• Conduct design reviews and quality assurance checks before project submissions.

• Serve as a key point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles.
• Lead client presentations, design reviews, and project meetings.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide strategic design recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to junior and mid-level architects.
• Mentor team members and support their professional development.
• Review team output and ensure adherence to project standards and timelines.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across project teams.

• Coordinate with engineers, interior designers, contractors, and consultants.
• Monitor project schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Participate in site visits and construction coordination activities.
• Resolve design and technical issues that arise during project execution.

• Stay informed on emerging architectural trends, materials, technologies, and sustainability practices.
• Champion innovative and efficient design solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Master's Degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 6–10+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Professional registration or membership with relevant architectural bodies is an advantage.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, hospitality, workplace, or mixed-use projects.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong BIM knowledge and experience.
