Univacity Ltd is looking for an experienced Travel Agent/Consultant to guide and support clients planning trips for business, leisure, tourism, and experiential travel. This role requires someone who can match clients with the right destinations, itineraries, and logistics while delivering a smooth, well-organized booking experience from inquiry to return.

Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand travel purpose, budget, preferences, and constraints, and recommend suitable destinations, packages, and itineraries.
- Plan and book flights, accommodation, transportation, tours, and travel insurance for business, leisure, and tourism clients.
- Advise clients on visa requirements, travel documentation, and entry regulations for their destination countries.
- Source and negotiate rates with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel partners to deliver value for clients.
- Manage end-to-end trip logistics, including itinerary changes, cancellations, and last-minute adjustments.
- Provide destination expertise — local customs, safety considerations, best times to travel, and experience recommendations.
- Handle corporate travel bookings for business clients, including managing recurring travel needs and expense-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate client and booking records using Univacity's CRM or travel management platform.
- Resolve travel disruptions (flight delays, cancellations, booking issues) promptly and professionally.
- Build long-term client relationships to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
- Stay current on travel industry trends, new destinations, airline policies, and visa regulation changes.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a travel agent, travel consultant, or in a related travel/tourism advisory role.
- Demonstrated experience booking and managing travel for multiple trip types (business, leisure, group tourism).
- Working knowledge of visa requirements and travel documentation across major destinations.
- Familiarity with airline booking systems (GDS such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) or travel agency software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client bookings and itineraries simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to handle stressful, time-sensitive situations calmly.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field — or equivalent industry experience.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Personal travel experience across multiple regions or continents.
- Existing relationships with airlines, hotel chains, or tour operators.
- Experience handling corporate/business travel accounts.
- Knowledge of niche or experiential travel (adventure tourism, luxury travel, group tours).
- Multilingual ability.
- IATA certification or equivalent travel industry credential.
