What Will You Be Doing
- Sales Strategy: Contributing and executing a sales strategy to grow revenue within a defined territory (Africa/WAF) or client base.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales growth targets for your set of services (Oil services: Crude, Products, LPG, Biofuels).
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key users, understand their needs, be their trusted advisor, and provide solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Possessing in-depth knowledge of Argus Oil services and market landscape, enabling to act as trusted advisors throughout the sales cycle. Expert at communicating value proposition to clients.
Keeping abreast of any service changes and how those add to the value proposition.
- Collaboration: Cross-functionally with the various Sales teams, Product Managers, Client Services, and Marketing to drive sales initiatives.
- Market Awareness: Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that impact their territory.
- Sales Experience: Proven track record of 5-10 years successful sales experience, with complex solutions and in a competitive environment.
- Market Experience: Experience in the commodity markets, particularly in the specific area of focus (Crude, Products, LPG, Biofuels in Africa).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for building relationships and presenting solutions.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve client issues and challenges.
- Product Knowledge: Understanding our products and services and how they benefit our various clients. Contributing to product roadmap development based on client feedback.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve sales performance.
